Black Hat Arsenal Europe 2016 – Call For Tools Closed
The Black Hat Arsenal is now flying to London doors with the very same goal: Giving hackers & security researchers the opportunity to demo their newest/latest code.
The Black Hat Arsenal tool area is dedicated for independent researchers and the open source community. The concept is quite simple: we will provide kiosks complete with monitor, power, and wired Internet access and you will bring your machine to showcase your work and answer questions from delegates attending Black Hat.
It is with great joy that we announce that ToolsWatch (@toolswatch and @maxisoler) and NETpeas (@netpeas) teams were invited to return and work in conjunction with Black Hat for the outstanding special event Black Hat Arsenal EU 2016.
This 13th session will be held at the Business Design Centre, London, UK, November 3-4, 2016.
The same old rules to consider before applying to the Arsenal:
- Bring your computer (with VGA output), your tool, your stickers …
- Avoid stodgy keynotes. Folks are expecting action. So give’em action.
- No vendor pitches!
- Be yourself, be cool, and wear a smile.
- Hug the folks at the Arsenal
- Above all, have Tremendous Fun !!
If you think you can survive these rules and want to give your tool a chance to shine, the time is now! The form is below; go ahead and complete it!
Special Requirements to consider since UK exited Europe:
- VISA Requirements: If your tool is selected for presentation at Black Hat Europe in London, please note that you may be required to obtain a visa to enter the UK. You can find information and instructions here: https://www.gov.uk/.
We strongly recommend that you check the requirements as early as possible in order to determine whether you will need to obtain a visa and to give yourself ample time if you need to submit an application. If you need a Letter of Invitation in order to complete your visa application, you may request that here: https://www.blackhat.com/eu-16/registration-terms.html#invitation
Applications for Black Hat Arsenal will be accepted until Monday, August 22 2016 with rolling acceptances until that date.
